Schuschnigg Definition

Arnold Joseph Schuschnigg (6 January 1893 – 16 February 1977) was an Austrian Christian-Socialist statesman who served as Chancellor of Austria from 1934 until the Anschluss in 1938. He was a prominent figure in Austrian politics during the early 1930s and is best known for his unsuccessful attempts to thwart the annexation of Austria by Nazi Germany.
