dyula Definition

A member of one of the many ethnic groups in West Africa, primarily found in parts of West Africa including Guinea, Sierra Leone and Senegal, known for their importance in gold trade and commerce during the 18th and 19th centuries. The term can also refer to the language spoken by the Dyulas.
