In common law, a loquitur is a legal ruling by a court stating that a statement or action is considered as an expression of intent or opinion, rather than a binding contract. It is used to give effect to words, phrases, or actions that appear to be incomplete or ambiguous but from which the court can reasonably infer the true intent of the parties involved.
